Understanding coins discounts in the cart

Hello everyone,

I normally buy single items with coins discount without problems. Now I'd like to buy several coin discounted items at once the reach the 10$ for the free shipping.

In the cart, as soon as I check the box of the items, the coin discounts decrease and if i select more than 3 items, the discount for each item is drastically reduced.

Is this normal? Is there a better way to do it to reach the best coin discounts?

Does every user have a limited total amount of coins discounts in $ every day/week/month?

Thanks in advance.
