Account locked immediately after creation
Hello, I just created an Aliexpress account for the first time. Logged in and got the popup to install the app as well, so I thought "may as well" and did that. Logged in on the app too - immediately got redirected to an appeal form for a locked account on the app and now the same happens on my PC as well. I didnt even get to place an order lmao. I filed the appeal form but couldnt fill out any information regarding my name, address, phone number etc., since I never even had any time to enter any of these details.
Is this normal? I googled the issue and it seems to be somewhat common since about 6 months ago, but most people who ran into it report having placed an order and getting locked when trying to track it, I never even got that far.
I'm hesitant about just creating a new account because they might flag my IP or something - given the current sale and the first time buyer promos, this site generally seems like a good target for bot accounts, so I figure that's why they're trying to crack down on that, but it's annoying that legitimate customers get caught up in it too. Seems very risky to even try ordering anything when they're this trigger happy about banning people.
