Best Way to Pay For Custom Order?

Hello, I contacted a seller that makes similar products to something I need custom made. I offered up a CAD drawing of the part and they went ahead and made the prototype for me (photos and all), but neither of us really know the best way to go about paying for it. Does not seem like something either of us have done before.

I live in the US. What is the best way to go about paying for a custom product? Should I ask them to make a custom listing or something else? Thank-you.
