“Craft of weaving”?
I looked at the intro post and did some searching, but never found the answer to this. If it’s in here somewhere, feel free to drop a pointer!
When ordering clothes from AliExpress, the Product Specifications will list various aspects, including the “craft of weaving.” It could say “knit,” for instance. Overall, I’ve found this a highly unreliable descriptor, so I take I with a grain (or 10) of salt. But one thing really puzzles me. Does anyone know what “TAT” means in this listing? I sometimes see “non-woven” (and this often seems dubious, since they are selling fabric of some sort), but I don’t think I’ve seen “woven,” even when I might think it would be correct.
What the heck does TAT mean?
