How discounts work
I've been trying to understand how AliExpress works for a week, particularly the issue of changing prices. From what I’ve gathered, if you're a new customer (or sign up with a new email), you get a discount on only one item at the special "new customer discount" price. All other items will still be discounted, but not at the same new customer rate.
So, you need to be careful when adding items to your cart.
For example:
Full price: $100 (the original price, which is always shown as discounted)
Regular discounted price: $50 (the standard discount)
New customer price: $25 (special price for your first purchase)
This means that only one item in your order will be at the new customer discount price, while the rest will be at the regular discounted price.
Has anyone else noticed the same? Do you have any other insights or experiences to share?
