Aliexpress return refund, package lost. dispute paypal. Order frozen
hello everyone. a while ago i ordered a watch on aliexpress. it turned out not to be good and after hassle with the seller i opened a dispute on aliexpress to solve it. aliexpress let me return the watch for free against a full refund. i sent the package with the return label from aliexpress with dpd. after a week the status of the shipment had not changed and after calling dpd my package appeared to be lost..... because the shipping status in my aliexpress account did not change to "shipped" and the timer expired with the risk that the return would be closed, i opened a dispute with Paypal.
i have been waiting for weeks for paypal, but still no decision. in the meantime dpd has found my package and successfully delivered it to the return address. in my aliexpress account the order has been moved from "refund and return" to "all" with the comment that my order has been stopped for security reasons because a claim has been filed. i would prefer to close the request with paypal, because the return amount is also higher with aliexpress. now i am afraid that if i close the dispute with paypal, the aliexpress dispute will not be opened and i will end up empty-handed. does anyone have experience with this?
