Gundam GQuuuuuuX will stream on Amazon next month
English-speaking fans of Gundam will not have to wait long for the opportunity to stream dubbed versions of the franchise's latest series. Amazon Prime has just revealed that it has obtained the rights to stream both dubbed and subbed versions of Gundam GQuuuuuuX. This new series is produced by studio Khara, directed by Kazyua Tsurumaki, and co-written by Hideaki Anno and Yōji Enokido. Starting on April 8th, Amazon will make Gundam GQuuuuuuX available for streaming in over 240 countries. New episodes will be released simultaneously with their airing on Japanese television. The Western premiere of GQuuuuuuX on Amazon aligns with the platform's recent efforts to include highly-anticipated Japanese animations like Tatsuki Fujimoto's Look Back and Khara's Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time in its library. Tsurumaki, known for directing the original FLCL anime, expressed his honor to be part of GQuuuuuuX and his anticipation for Western audiences to witness the creativity of his team. He stated, "FLCL was beloved by numerous fans abroad, which brought me immense joy. Now, after all this time, I am genuinely thrilled to introduce this new title through digital streaming.
