Reputable seller telling me to cancel because product was marked at too steep a discount? Should I do it?

An expensive usually $80-90 dollar item I've had my eye on for a while (3 months) was marked down to $30 on sale so I bought it. Take in mind this is from a popular 60k follower plus store. Should I wait and see if it ships or not? I'm pretty sure they aren't scamming me and I really want the item for the discounted price 😭

The seller messaged me asking me to cancel because it was too discounted. I haven't replied or done anything yet.
